Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, or “submission grappling,” is a grappling-based martial art. The object of the game is to make your opponent tap out via joint locks or choke holds. Classes include live sparring and basic instruction in gi and no gi grappling. All ability and experience levels are encouraged to attend from first timers to grizzled veterans.
Classes are led by Black Belts in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu – some of who compete and are registered with the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation (IBJJF). The Revenant Grappling Company calls the Colorado Athletic Club home and is an IBJJF Registered Academy that can complete your registration if you wish to compete. The Revenant Grappling Company is also active in local tournaments and competition up and down the Front Range.
