Fitness Subscription Boxes to Try this Summer

Are you looking for motivation to meet your fitness goals? Consider subscribing to a fitness box. Designed to inspire and featuring high-quality gear, these services can help you build a better routine. They vary widely, providing all sorts of items, from athletic apparel to supplements to workout guidance, but which one is the best for you? Here’s a list of suggestions for fitness subscription boxes to try.

FabFitFun: This is one of the most popular subscriptions, and that’s not surprising. It’s a quarterly fitness subscription box that provides lifestyle and beauty items as well as FabFitFunTV, where you’ll find easy-to-follow exercise videos online. FabFitFun promotes the importance of balance in the approach to fitness, and offers curated products with excellent overall value. There’s also an add-on program that allows subscribers to order additional products at a discount. The benefits of this services are that you can handpick your items, each box has on-trend full-sized items, and you can get amazing deals through the add-ons and pop-up sales. Unfortunately, there are often limited options for fitness items, and you may see some products repeating over time.

Ellie: A monthly fitness subscription for women, Ellie mostly focuses on workout clothes. However, you can also receive resistance bands, jump ropes, and other fitness accessories, depending on your subscription. Once a month you’ll get to select athleisure and fitness clothing from a collection hand selected by stylists. On the 2 item plan, you’ll get a top and bottom each month. On the 3 item plan, it’s a top, sports bra and bottom. Step up to the 5 item plan and you’ll get the clothing plus 2 accessories. The outfits are high-quality, and they’re sold at an affordable price, but the size range only goes up to XL.

MuscleBox & Miss MuscleBox: This subscription service’s offerings include workout gear, gym clothes, protein-packed snacks and supplements. The three options they offer are a box for men, a box for women and a Protein Box. The protein snacks are perfect for those tracking macros, and the boxes include 7 or more items, including snacks, apparel and workout inspiration. The boxes come with intense, well-explained workouts and a varied selection of high-protein snacks, but this subscription is definitely aimed at bodybuilders and not general fitness enthusiasts.

The Lift Box: A subscription for weightlifters, the Lift Box contains supplements, snacks, gear and apparel. The company is veteran-owned and operated, there’s a military discount, and they not just to the United States but also to overseas military bases. Each box contains a tank or tee, several servings of supplements, snacks, and a drink and gear and accessories like shakers or lifting straps. Unfortunately, there’s no way to personalize the snacks based on dietary restrictions or preferences.

BuddhiBox Yoga Box: If you’re looking to deepen your yogic lifestyle, this may be the box for you. Each month, BuddhiBox sends out boxes containing 4-6 items from ethical companies with conscious practices. The items in the box are curated, with a theme like Abundance, Self-Care or The Breath, and they include a card with a yoga pose and guidance for achieving it. There’s also a Jewelry Box subscription and an Essential Oils subscription, and while they are not fitness oriented, they may be worth checking out if you like the approach behind the Yoga Box.

Cairn: This monthly fitness box is designed to help you pursue outdoor adventures in order to meet your fitness goals. Boxes usually include three items, including two pieces of gear along with accessories, apparel, skincare or emergency items and a nutritional product like an energy bar. It’s great for providing functional outdoor gear but if you’re an experienced camper you may already own at least a few of the subscription’s basic items

Wild Woman: Another outdoorsy box, this one is for women who love being outside. Boxes include gear, snacks, natural personal care products and outdoor adventuring tips. A different virtue and explanation of how to work it into your life is included in each box, and all of the products are useful for everyday life as well as outdoor activities. If you’re interested, act quickly, because it often sells out.
