The powerful
benefits of massage

There is no denying the power of bodywork. Whether you seek rejuvenating stress relief, therapeutic pain management or simply a luxurious pampering treat, massage therapy can be a powerful ally in your healthcare regimen.

Specialty Massage

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is meant to relax the entire body. However, it also has a number of other health benefits. Swedish massage improves blood circulation, increases the level of oxygen in the blood, helps the body remove toxins, improves flexibility, eases tension and helps with pain management.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage focuses on realigning deep layers of muscles. It is used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders. Some of the strokes are similar to those used in Swedish Massage, but the movement is slower and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain in order to reach the sublayer of muscles and the fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles).

Sports Massage

Beneficial for injury recovery / prevention & pain reduction of over worked muscles. A Sports massage is ideal to treat injuries and can also be used as a preventative treatment dealing with the health of muscles, connective tissues, range of movement, muscle tone, symmetry, balance of muscles and quality of posture. A Sports Massage every 1-2 weeks is a great addition to your athletic regimen.

Neuromuscular Therapy

NMT is the utilization of static pressure on specific myofascial points to relieve pain. This technique manipulates the soft tissue of the body (muscles, tendons and connective tissue) to balance the central nervous system.

Thai Massage

Thai Massage can be performed on the massage table or on yoga mats on the floor. This is a timeless therapy that combines customized yoga like stretching with an extensive range of touch techniques to massage the muscles, tendons, and pressure points of the body.

Craniosacral is a light touch approach for acute and chronic pain. The therapy is a gentle, noninvasive form of bodywork that addresses the bones of the head, spinal column, and sacrum. The goal is to release compression in those areas which alleviates stress and pain.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue.

Geriatric massage

Geriatric Massage is a form of massage designed to meet the specific needs of the elderly population. It involves the use of hands to manipulate the soft tissues of the body, improving blood circulation, relieving pain, and increases range of motion.

Reflexology Massage

Reflexology is a system of massaging specific areas of the feet or hands in order to promote healing, relieve stress, and reduce pain in other areas of the body.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Also called lymphatic drainage and lymph massage is a very gentle massage that encourages lymph flow in the body. By stimulating the lymphatic system, the therapist helps drain puffy, swollen tissues, supports the body’s immune system, helps the body heal from surgery, and aids in the body’s natural waste removal and detoxification.

Hot Stone Massage

A technique that uses heated stones to relax and massage sore muscles. The hot stones also expand blood vessels, which encourages blood flow throughout the body. The hot stones have a sedative effect that can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress and promote deep relaxation. (Appointment must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance).

Skin Care

“New You” Body Scrub

Besides feeling wonderful, body scrubs have several rejuvenating benefits for the skin. Body scrubs gently remove dead skin cells, dirt and oil from the outer layer of skin. This helps to unclog pores and expose your skin’s underlying healthier layers.

$100 per session
Can be combined with Massage for additional fees. Appointment must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
