Stretch and Strengthen
Stretching is essential to any good exercise regimen. When you become a member at Colorado Athletic Club, you’ll have plenty of chances to join us for fitness classes with a strong emphasis on stretching and strengthening muscles.
Cardio and HRT
Do you want the endurance of an Olympic athlete? Cardio workouts are some of the best ways to build stamina and burn calories quickly. Fortunately, our Union Station club offers lots of options when it comes to cardio-oriented fitness classes. You can join us for heart rate training (HRT) and complete several circuits that get your heart pumping. BODYPUMP™ is another fantastic way to burn lots of calories without a major time commitment.
While yoga might seem like little more than glorified stretching, it’s actually a powerful fitness technique. We hold a variety of yoga classes throughout the week, focusing on increasing strength, improving flexibility and building endurance. Yoga is much more than just holding downward dog for a few seconds—it’s an effective workout for every major muscle group!
Glutes and Core
Core strength is essential to all kinds of workouts. Whether you’re looking to improve your cardio endurance or you want to lift more, strengthening your glutes and abdominal muscles is a must. After all, how else would you be able to lift those 50-pound barbells? Our glutes and core classes are designed to be attainable for all skill and fitness levels. Come as you are!
Combine the best of cardio and ballet with a barre workout. Our health club is always offering new and improved barre classes, where participants work to elongate their muscles and get their heart rate up, all while learning some dance basics in the process. You’ll love these exercise classes, complete with enthusiastic instructors and high-energy music.
